Excellent construction, but expensive as mattress not included. More importantly the description does not indicate that the baskets are only half the width of the bed and do NOT go all the way back in the slots, there is a lot of wasted space at the back. Feel on reflection that it was a very expensive bed/storage unit compared with similar quality in Marks & Spencer and John Lewis. Difficult to get up stairs in a modern house as a temporary measure until we move, as did not come apart, so probably will not go up the stairs in our new house which is a period cottage. It will therefore have to be left for my grandson to use, so not absolutely ideal, as an expensive item rather wasted on a young child.

Brought this to match other items in this range that I already have. It's a nice bed, but the first one that arrived had been so badly damaged in transit that it had to go back. The replacement arrived and also had some damage. Disappointing.
