I was so disappointed with this item. I have shopped with Cotswold before and had high expectations of quality. The wardrobe arrived with the inside looking like a packing case with chipped wood, broken magnetic catches which when removed were clearly second hand! and the top looking very inferior and unfinished. I did not expect the amount of assembly involved. The description was hand waxed but this was clearly not the case as there was runs of wax on the edges where it had been sprayed badly. It was too big for me to take apart and return so was offered a small refund but not nearly enough to equate to the real value. The design was one I really loved and had it been built with any quality, would have been a lovely item. Buyers beware

Method of fitting of top section poor, with screws visible. Much better designs available. Also screw holes incorrectly chamfered internally instead of externally (screws too short).

Lovely item. Had to part assemble, but no hassle as easy, peasy for anyone. Hardest part was lift wardrobe onto base which was ready assembled. Now in use with other items purchased and looks wonderful. Very pleased
