The Milan collection is made from solid ash throughout, without veneers. Where featured the drawers have dovetailed joints with tongue and grooved bases and brushed steel bar handles. Unit backs are constructed from tongue and grooved panels.
This is a good solid wardrobe with loads of space. Unfortunately getting it to the required room was a challenge, as the way it was packed meant that the larger of the two packages was too heavy for the delivery guys to get up the satirs, even when helped by my husband. We had to unpack it and carry the pieces up separately. We have a large victorian house with very high ceilings so space was not an issue. Husband said it was not too bad putting it together but it wasn't easy. Unfortunately the hanging rail was missing but this was solved with a phone call and the item arrived fairly quickly. We are pleased with the look of it and the volume of 'stuff'it has comsumed since our daughter returned to live at home.
I like the design, but options for handles would be good. Assembly was very difficult, luckily we had paid for it to be done by the delivery men. They could not assemble the piece to be completely square and one of the doors does not shut properly.
The right hand door does not shut properly on one of the wardrobes
