Delivery

At The Cotswold Company we aspire to offer our customers a delivery experience which is quick, efficient and hassle-free. This is why we have selected the best specialist removal teams in the country to carry out your delivery. The Cotswold Company home delivery service is designed to offer you convenience and value. We offer three types of delivery service to best meet the needs of our customers and aim to deliver within 7 - 14 days. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery to Scotland.

In stock items may be despatched from different warehouses and therefore may arrive with you at different times. This will incur just one delivery fee. If you choose to receive your goods in more than one delivery for any other reason, this will incur an additional charge.

A signature is always required when receiving the order. Please ensure you are available to receive delivery on the arranged date. Failed deliveries typically incur a re-booking fee.

Delivery Charges, Timings and Services

In order to give you the best value your order will be sent out via the most suitable carrier, depending on size and weight. To find out exactly how much your delivery will cost please add your chosen items to your basket.

Assembly Service

When taking advantage of our Prestige delivery service, you also have the option of having your furniture assembled for you. Our expert home delivery team will carry your furniture into the room of your choice, unpack, assemble and arrange your furniture with ease, disposing the the packaging afterwards.

Wardrobes and Beds - £45.00 each.

Other Part Assembled Items - £15.00 each.

Cancellations

Order cancellations received after the order has left our warehouse, but before delivery has been attempted, will incur the delivery charge.

Please ensure you are available to receive delivery on the agreed date. If you are unable to receive delivery please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

Non-UK Mainland Deliveries

Our delivery service covers the whole of the UK mainland. Unfortunately we cannot deliver to the Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands, the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or Eire, but we can deliver to a port. For more information about this service please contact our Customer Service Team.

Our Delivery Types Explained:

Parcel Delivery

Once you have placed your order, we will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date. Your delivery will come to you between 8am and 6pm.

Our parcel courier service will leave a calling card if there is no one available to receive items on the day/s of delivery. Items may arrive in multiple deliveries as they can come from different despatch locations.

In-stock items will be delivered within 3 weeks. Out of stock items will take longer to arrive, expected lead-times are shown on the website and we will email updates fortnightly.

Standard Delivery

We will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery day after placing your order (for out of stock items you will be contacted when your order is back in stock). On the day of delivery, you will be contacted in the morning to advise you of an approximate arrival time. Your furniture will be delivered just inside the front door by our one man delivery team.

Prestige Delivery

You will be contacted to book a suitable delivery day after placing your order (for out of stock items you will be contacted when your order is back in stock). On the day of delivery, you will be called approximately one hour before the driver arrives. Your furniture will be placed in your room of choice, access permitting, and it will be unpacked and the packaging removed. You will be required to inspect the goods thoroughly before accepting delivery.
