Welcome to The Cotswold Company, for people who love their home. And I’m sure you’ll love the Sheesham range that we’re taking a look at. It’s made entirely of solid Sheesham. It’s a beautiful, strong hardwood which features a grain that’s full of character which is almost two-tone in it’s natural state. Every element of each piece is handmade so that every piece will be different and have a more traditional feel to it. Each drawer is sanded to perfection and then numbered to fit each hole so no one drawer will fit into another piece. Once it’s completed each piece is stained in a very rich rosewood satin and it’s polished, no laquer or varnish is used, to get a very subtle satin effect. Individual characteristics such a sap, pigmentation and knotting give the Sheesham range a distinguished look making every piece of furniture unique. No two pieces are quite the same unlike mass produced furniture which just makes it that little bit more special.

Let’s take a closer look at our Sheesham range. Starting with our stunning Coffee Table Chest. Our solid Sheesham Coffee Table Chest has these 12 very handy drawers we’ll take a look at. Sturdy drawers for storing remotes, as you can see would fit in there, stationery, coasters, and anything small that you’d like to hide away and help to keep the living room nice and tidy with these beautiful little drawers. In addition to that, half of the top also lifts back which we’ll see now. It lifts back to reveal a larger storage area in the back. And that’s suitable for larger items such as cushions or throws, magazines perhaps or DVDs. And you can see just here on the side there is a latch which props that open nice and safely whilst you fill it full of things you don’t want other people to see. If this looks a little big for your living room, there’s also a 9 Drawer Coffee Table available which looks exactly the same just a little bit smaller.

Now we’ll move over and take a look at the oval and column chests. These stunning chests are a stylish addition to any room in your house. Gently rounded drawer fronts fit neatly against the main body of the chest as you can see. And they have matching turned wood handles as well. The large drawers are providing great storage space for hiding clutter in any room. If I pull this one out you’ll be able to see that the drawers are very deep and as with all this furniture the bottoms of them are very, very sturdy. Plenty of room for hiding away all of your clutter and making your room look tidy in an instant. The tops are also perfect for perching plants or ornaments or whatever you fancy on top of them – perhaps some family pictures.

The final two pieces that we’re going to take a look at are the oval chests. They’re slightly wider than the columns in case you need a bit of extra storage space and of course have the same unique finish and craftsmanship which means that they are very individual pieces and are going to be very special to you. The drawers, if I open up this one here, as you can see and as you would expect of course, they are very strong, sturdy drawers with very thick bases to prevent any sagging or any bowing. You can store a lot of items in there. They also have, of course, the lovely finish to the surface area on top. Perfect for displaying any kind of ornament you may wish to have or photographs. They’re elegant, they’re understated and this rounded design, I think, will really fit into anyones décor or blend into existing furnishings you may have in your house.

The 2 Drawer Oval Chest is the same design, same finish as the 4 Drawer Unit. The exception being this open storage area here that you can see at the bottom which is perfect if you have some larger items such as books that you’d like to store there as well.
