The actual unit was great. Unfortunately the colour was more buttermilk than soft cream so it has a yellow tinge so didn't match the rest of the furniture.

I had been very happy with Wiltshire furniture bought in the past, so ordered this product with confidence. However, in this case I was very disappointed on hearing nothing from Costwold for six weeks after placing my order, despite the fact that my account had been debited on the day it was placed. After delays involving 11 phone calls to the Cotswold service number, I finally took delivery almost exactly two months after placing the original order only to discover that the item was defective. This was rather galling in view of the fact that earlier delays had been explained by the need to resolve "quality control issues". Since the Wiltshire cupboard is made to order and a like-for-like replacement would have meant a further lengthy delay,I had little choice but to order an alternative product which was in stock and available for delivery. I have since received apologies but no compensation, either for the inconvenience or the cost of multiple phone calls (£7). Definitely not Cotwold's finest hour, and an experience which will make me think twice about ordering from them in future.

As discussed over the phone, your order did come into stock within the originally specified lead time but was unfortunately found to be defective during our quality control checks. We then ordered in a replacement product which was then delivered to you but regrettably arrived damaged, and at this point you chose to swap for an alternative item which was subsequently delivered successfully. We have sold the Wiltshire range for many years and problems such as this are rare to say the least, although we will still certainly ensure that this feedback is relayed appropriately. I hope you will consider purchasing from us again now we have managed to resolve this matter for you, but I would be more than happy to give you a call should you with to discuss this situation further. small 1/2" round split on visible side of cupboard and poor quality finish about 4" from the split

Really liked the Wiltshire bookcase but found it a bit wobbly when opening the door. Think it needs a strap on the back to secure it to the wall to prevent a topple accident. Will have to try and make one as feel it is unsafe when my little niece visits as she love to explore inside cupboards. Otherwise very happy with product.
