Very possibly a UK first, the chunky, elemental English oak beam furniture is 'carbon neutral' which is to say that the net carbon dioxide emissions from its manufacture are nil.
Created using only UK-grown oak from sensitively managed forests, the 'green' timber is then worked entirely by hand and oiled to enhance the grain.
So not only are transport and energy consumption minimised, but traditional wood-working techniques are kept alive.
The result is something truly beautiful and absolutely natural - in every sense of the word.
