Country Interiors, by you #11

The period after Christmas always leaves us in a bit of a rut, doesn’t it? We long for spring and brighter days and yet the dark mornings and cold evenings convince us to stay in, to make the most of our homes and make them as inviting as possible. This month, we’ve seen nothing but beautifully cosy and comfortable homes, so we thought we’d share a few of our favourites.

Our Chambery Grey Gents Wardrobe looks wonderfully at home in Tiff and Paul’s beautiful nursery for baby Hector.

I’m soooooo tired πŸ’€ | I don’t even have a justifiable reason for it, no mountains have been climbed, no wild parties. But man alive I am looking forward to my bed tonight. I might even go all out and take a home magazine and a cup of tea to bed later on and paint my nails. And when I say β€˜later on’ I mean 9pm. When did I get so old that all of that became such a treat? 😬 . . . #sodomino #myinspiredhouse #styleithappy #myhomevibe #boliginspiration #mydomaine #pocketofmyhome #nestandthrive #myseasonalrevamp #myhousebeautiful #seekthesimplicity #interior_and_living #homeinteriors #sorealhomes #mystylishspace #styledupinterior #bedroominspo #myhomestyle #spotthenewtrend #interiorinspo #mystylednest #myperiodhomestyle #interiormilk #howwedwell #rockininteriors #myhousethismonth #stellarspaces #interior123 #homerenovation #myinteriorstyletoday

Renovating a beautiful 19th century mill house, we love how these bedside cabinets from our rustic Abington Pine collection complement the dark painted walls in Jen’s cosy bedroom.

We think our timeless Chantilly White Chest pairs beautifully with the rustic, country feel of this bedroom.

Venturing over to the dark side in this cosy bedroom, we love how elegant our Radley Painted Bedside looks against the blush velvet cushions and matching dark buttoned headboard.

Our Extra Large Chester Grey Sideboard also complements the dark scheme stylishly adopted in this beautiful conservatory.

Our Abington Pine range proved popular in January – we think it looks so fitting in this beautiful 18th century cottage in Scotland.

What a wonderfully cosy corner Claire has created in her daughter, Rose’s, bedroom with our Burford Painted Chest.

Despite the cold, Leanne’s open-plan kitchen/living area looks so inviting. We love our beautiful Bampton Armchair in the corner – the perfect snuggle spot!

Natalie has created a beautiful corner in her Victorian home with our elegant Ellenborough Painted Large Sideboard.

AD (unpaid/Image contains gifted items) For the very first time ever Sonny has asked to do something that isn’t just copying Harbor. He wants to start Martial Arts (no great surprise from the kid who has asked Santa for β€˜weapons’ for three years running) and he starts tonight. I’m so excited about it. (Bare with me) It feels like the first glimpse into him being his own little person and I absolutely love that! They are so so different and I worry that he always chooses things just to be like his brother. Plus it is always good to have someone with some ninja skills in the family isn’t it? (No ninja emoji. Very poor show apple πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ) Picture isn’t related to the caption but I hardly photograph the boys these days! . . (Right gifted disclosure.. the rug was gifted from @modernrugsuk and the throw was part of a previous paid collaboration with @cotswoldco) #cottagestyle #myhomevibe #hyggehome #interiormilk #cottage #inglenook #logburner #juterug #beams

Cara’s living room looks so warm and cosy, doesn’t it? Our Grey Astrid Wool Throw is the perfect accompaniment for an afternoon snuggle beside the fire.

As we venture into February then, we can still expect to be graced with a flurry of snow or persistent rain showers, so be sure to keep tagging us (#cotswoldco) with your cosy and inviting homes to warm us up!
