Scouring mills across the globe, our team of buyers have carefully selected 30 beautiful fabrics. From linens hand-woven in India to cotton blends from Italy and soft velvets crafted in Turkey; our colour selection includes soft neutrals, cool blues and rich, warm tones. Handmade here in the UK in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, each sofa, armchair and footstool is made to order and delivered in just 6-8 weeks. And, because we want to give you peace of mind with your new purchase, we offer a 10-year guarantee on all of our frames.

Using a team of specially skilled craftsmen – many of whom have been in the upholstery industry their whole working lives, starting at just 16 – they’re passionate about developing beautiful upholstery ready for production.

‘These years of experience means that they have an in-depth knowledge of the whole completed piece from the wooden frame to the fitting of the legs and everything in between,’ the Design Manager tells us. ‘They have to start from scratch and have to make every piece of furniture in such a way that it can be put into production.’

‘Many of our upholsterers train from an early age to have this skill. We pride ourselves on working with training colleges to acquire the people with the will to learn to become a skilled upholsterer. We have three that have just qualified,’ the Design Manager explains. ‘In our business, we have 13 people who started as trainee upholsterers and of those 13, five have been with the company for over 40 years.’
