See What They’re Saying #1

We all tend to have our favourite magazines that we read, indulge and pore over every month. From the gossip pages, to sartorial style tips and of course – our personal favourite – the home interiors. It is by reading the latter that we are invited into the real homes of readers, spoilt with easy Pinterest-worthy styling tips and learn of beautiful new pieces that we simply can’t wait to introduce into our own homes.

~

As much as we would love to, we know it’s not really possible to buy every home interiors magazine on the supermarket shelves. So, in a new monthly series, we thought we’d do a little round-up of all the equally lovely magazines which have been featuring our beautiful furniture so that you can See What They’re Saying, and take a little inspiration from the experts themselves.

Country Homes & Interiors

Our rustic Oakland Chest of Drawers appeared in the ‘8 reasons to love chest of drawers’ in the March issue of Country Homes & Interiors for its ‘wonderfully eclectic look’. With a ‘hand-waxed finish that shows off the rich grain of the wood and brass-effect handles’, it’s a perfect addition if you’re looking for vintage appeal!

Our beautiful cream Primrose Button Back Chair also featured in a beautiful shot by the Country Homes & Interiors’ team in their spring feature for ways to ‘mix light and dark’ for ‘everyday eating’.

HomeStyle

The HomeStyle team featured our colourful Charlton Green Painted Square Extending Table in their ‘Come Dine’ feature, encouraging readers to ‘think outside the box’ and choose a table to suit their style.

The Simple Things

Our beautiful Chester Grey Dresser featured alongside a host of cosy accessories in the team’s Virtual Design Odyssey feature in March. Taking the reader on a virtual trip to Wales to embrace all things ‘cwtch’ (‘the warm hug you get when you enter a comfortable home’), it offers suggestions on how to recreate the homeliness found in these traditional Welsh hillside stone homes.

Style at Home

Our charming Charlton Green Painted Console Table featured in Sue’s ‘Vintage Charm’ feature for March. A great way to ‘liven up your colour scheme’, this ‘soft mossy green’ range is perfect for creating ‘a cosy and welcoming home’.

Country Homes & Interiors

Our stunning Charlton Green Painted Bedside Tables are featured in Michelle’s Guest Bedroom feature this month. Ideal if you’re looking to inject a little colour and ‘charming bedside manner’, these ‘lacquered oak chests’, painted in a beautiful mossy green, boast country classic charm – so much so in fact, that you may want to hold on to them for the master bedroom!

Style at Home

Our ‘sleek’ Campbell Oak Console Table comes highly recommended by the Style at Home team if you’re inspired by Scandi interiors and want to ‘bring a neutral Nordic space to life’. With two-door storage, its slimline frame means it’s a terrific ‘space saver’ and ‘will fit neatly into a narrow hallway’ too.

Woman and Home

If you’re looking to create a more muted palette for a room in your home this spring, Woman and Home suggest keeping to pastel hues including dusky pinks, dove greys and chambray blues. Perfect for your hallway or bedroom, they recommend our charming Chambery Grey Painted Console Table which fits the bill wonderfully.

HomeStyle

Catherine from HomeStyle features our stunning Westcote Blue Pedestal Desk this month in her ‘Hot Desking’ edit. A deep navy hue with ‘stylish’ cup handles, it makes for a perfect option if you’re looking to create ‘an inspiring work space’.

Good Homes

Boasting bundles of rustic country charm, the team at Good Homes recommend our Milton Oak 3 Drawer Bedside tables in their ‘Shop this Room’ feature this month when they visit a 1930s semi-detached home in Bristol.

Ideal Home

Our stunning Westcote Blue Sideboard is featured in Ideal Home’s ‘Where to Buy’ Kitchen Project this month as we look round the beautiful Edwardian London home of Jenny and Rhys Pitt, following the renovation of their gallery kitchen. A ‘modern but timeless’ transformation, Jenny’s Bistro Chic style is reflected by ‘shaker cabinets teamed with pops of dark colour’ – stylishly championed by our Westcote Blue kitchen range!
