This doormat is as pretty as it looks and it doesn't snag when the front door opens even though there is thick carpet in place. I am disappointed that it moves gradually and with the check pattern, when it isn't aligned it looks wrong. It currently is shedding pile which I hope will decrease with time.

Thank you for taking the opportunity to leave a review on our website Yvonne. I am sorry there is a degree of 'shedding' on the mat, this is quite normal and should decrease in time.
