In a year that many of us won’t forget, 2020 saw the start of one very special journey. Fuelled by the pandemic and her redundancy, Philippa took a leap of faith and created Three Sisters Farm…<\/h5>\n

“Dried flowers and pampas grass are back. Gone are the days of the dusty and dull dried flowers from the 80’s,” Philippa tells us. Three Sisters Farm<\/a> sell a beautiful range of dried flowers and pampas grasses in all colours.<\/p>\n

“Dried flowers are an amazing alternative to real flowers. They last over a year and with low maintenance, they are a cost effective and sustainable choice,” says Philippa. “My favourite type of dried flowers are Lagurus (bunny tails). They are so soft and come in so many colours!”<\/p>\n

DREAM COME TRUE<\/h6>\n

With a lifelong love for fashion and interior design, the creation of Three Sisters Farm has been a dream come true for Philippa. “Creating a business was a huge risk, especially when you are a single mum with little support. Fast forward 12 months, and the Three Sisters Farm team have built a brand and a community of which we value immensely.” A brand based on her creativity and love for the countryside, Philippa tells us beautiful, rich colours, natural materials and bright patterns inspire her.<\/p>\n

SEASONAL DECOR<\/h6>\n

At this time of year, when we find ourselves hunkering down and keeping warm from the colder days and nights outside our front doors, we put more thought to our homes inside. Creating warm and welcoming spaces to relish and relax. Bringing in elements of comfort and cosiness for guests to enjoy. Incorporating hints of the season with rich colours and foliage.<\/p>\n

“The Bethany<\/a> is the perfect autumnal arrangement with its deep blues, browns and rich purples,” Philippa enthuses. With stems of Phalaris, Oats, Pampas, Eucalyptus, Broom and Protea in seasonal shades, she subtly mirrors the changing leaves and flora seen beyond our windows at this time of year.<\/p>\n

For the festive season, The Three Sisters Farm have designed a considered collection of three natural Christmas wreaths, exclusively for The Cotswold Company. “We wanted to create something that looks fresh but is in fact dried and will last year after year. Using ingredients like Pepperberries (which smell of pepper!), thistles and dried oranges help to give the wreaths a festive finishing touch.”<\/p>\n

For hanging in a sheltered spot or to add a festive welcome to entranceways, each wreath is made by hand on the Three Sisters farm using naturally dried foliage and finished with a jute bow.<\/p>\n

A BRIGHT FUTURE<\/h6>\n

Philippa tells us there’s a real focus on sustainability at Three Sisters Farm. “We do not use any plastic at all. All of our packaging and raw materials are either recycled or recyclable and we always try to re-use packaging that’s been sent to us if we’re able to. We’ve made a conscious effort to create products, like our craft bags, which use waste materials. We’re proud that our suppliers work in this considered and sustainable way too.”<\/p>\n

As for the future, Philippa tells us she has loved creating her Three Sisters Farm brand, designing the ranges and seeing it flourish. “I’m looking forward to growing our ranges and aim to provide our customers with the best selection of dried flowers in the UK.”<\/p>\n
