This bed is in another league to all the other beds I've looked at. I took a chance ordering on line without seeing it but I'm so glad I did. The bed is such good quality, really solid wood and easy to fit together. The packaging was the best I've ever seen too. I have also bought the bedside tables and dressing table, they all look lovely together.

Slightly disappointed with the quality of the bed after the fantastic reviews I read before the purchase. The first delivery was badly damaged - although probably the fault of the delivery company but the central legs didn't actually reach the floor when the bed was assembled! The customer service person I spoke to didn't seem over surprised at this which led me to feel they had had other people with the same problem - probably a faulty batch. The second bed delivered was much better cosmetically but still a couple of marks on the footboard which we are living with. The bed is very sturdy but the quality of the finish is not the best. The fit of the mattress we bought is not snug with the second bed as it was with the first - we are surprised at the variation in size as we would have expected there would have been more consistency. all in all we quite satisfied but would hesitate to by from Cotswold again as we would really prefer to see before we buy when spending (what is to us) quite a lot of money on a piece of furniture.

The company made a mistake and sent the wrong sized sides.....but phoned and asked us to check and let them know if that was the CSS. It was - I phoned customer service and could not have had a nicer lady dealing with my issue. She went out of the way to ensure the correct pieces were sent ASAP.
