Oakland Rustic Oak
4ft 6" Double Bed

Very happy with our purchase.Delivery went to plan ,though we had explored the logistics in detail beforehand to avoid problems on the stairs. Assembly was done promptly and all rubbish removed. Thank you

Mixed feelings about this bed frame. After purchase we realised that the width between the slats was too great to satisfy the requirements to guarantee our new Hypnos mattress. Rather than returning it we asked if one extra slat could be provided so that the slats could be put with the required spacing. Although we were pleased that help was provided by Cotswold, the initial reaction was that they have no spares as they only sell bed frames in their complete form. Later this was taken back and a spare was sent out. Whether this bed was a production mistake or if the entire bed collection has slats too wide for most major mattress manufacturers is not clear. The moral of the story is to check to make sure that the slats are compatible with your mattress purchase. If the slats are too wide the mattress will wear out prematurely and comfort will be compromised. In terms of the item itself it is not completely easy to make as there are no pre-drilled holes as other reviewers have said. I would like to have had the feeling of being valued as a customer which sadly I really can't say I was. Now that the bed is complete it does look good. Would I purchase a bed again from Cotswold?- sadly not.

Replaced a metal bed frame that squeaked at every turn and twist . This new oak db was easy to install all the nuts and bolts were there, this lovely heavy bed doesn’t squeak, rock and roll , what a wonderful sleep my grandson gets. Excellent product well worth the money.
