I love it! I'm so pleased with this in every way ( size, storage capacity, quality and style). I was concerned that its compact size would mean very little space for shoes but this is not the case. As it was on a great offer price too I couldn't be happier with it!

Beautifully made and ideal for our hallway, only two minor issues- the bench is actually incredibly 'cream' in colour- almost a yellowy cream. We loved the bench so much that we'll paint it though. Other issue is that it would be great if the hinges allowed some slower close mechanism- it's a big slam at the moment which can be a bit dangerous for very little fingers.

Traditional Cotswold Company fare well made and expertly finished. It would have been luxurious to have a piano hinge for the lid instead of the 3 cabinet hinges but I am being fussy. Delivery was very good and we have a small hall that this Bourton Small Ivory Storage Bench (M323) sits very nicely therin. We could, know that we have this small one in place, have gone with the larger bench so if you are considering purchasing this item it might be worth looking at the slighter bigger option also. The storage section under the seat is very useful indeed and just to correct a previous reviewer this item is ALL WOOD, not MDF as stated by that buyer. Keep up the good work Cotswold Company and keep up the reasonable pricing.
