Expected it to come as 2 bits and not to have to assemble the top half. Also the screws holes for the hooks don't really fit. Looks nice though.

We were pleased to hear that this customer was happy with the overall appearance of this product, but were obviously concerned to learn that there was an issue with the holes for the hooks. We have tried contacting them via phone and email to see what we can do to resolve this situation for them, but so far have not heard back. I can also advise that this is a part assembled item as advertised.

Good and bad comments. The service was excellent right down to the point of delivery and construction. The general quality of the product is fine. However it is definitely 3 inches too short. I am a typical XL man and when I hang my jackets they trail on the bottom box looking untidy. It also looks short in my hall which actually has low not high ceilings. If the legs were just 1 inch longer, shoes could be slid underneath. Finally I think the way the back is fitted to the box is flimsy and could easily be damaged if moved. A pity these small design details let down an otherwise lovely piece of furniture. My lesson learned, I would never buy furniture over the internet again without seeing the actual product first
