Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak’s natural beauty, the timber is hand-waxed and sealed with a hard-wearing lacquer, enhancing the oak’s rich ombre patterns and grain.
Product has a rustic, hand-waxed finish which is then sealed in clear lacquer to provide a rich hardwearing finish. Please note that each product is constructed from solid timber, which will be inherently unique in its grain, composition and colouring. Therefore each product will have variation in its appearance.

It is a nice, well built sideboard and I am now pleased with it. However it does not come fully assembled - the shelves need to be unwrapped and put into place. This will probably not be a problem for most but as someone on my own who cannot kneel or bend because of arthritis I found it extremely awkward, especially as the shelves are wider than the door opening space. I may not have bought it if I'd realised as I specifically wanted one that I could simply open and fill up. I'm disappointed that despite telling Cotswold this and that the web site should make it clear in case others have similar difficulties, I still can't see it mentioned.

Excellent little sideboard for my hall the drawers have ample space for keys and the dogs lead etc. the shelves have great space to house a family of fours daily worn shoes etc. very pleased with my purchase. I’d also note from the online pics it looked like the corners you could see screws but upon opening I could tell it was the pretty detailing of the join used.

i ordered two of these to sit beside my tall display case,, nice piece of furniture very stable and robust look great beside my tall unit of the same range, lovely quality, excellent service from the delivery team too ho unpack and take away the rubbish i can highly recommend
