We now have cabinet number 3. two arrived with huge splits in the wood. The third has arrived, minus one handle. For this standard of service I could have gone to a well known self build complany and found a product for a fraction of the price. However, the staff I dealt with tried to be as helpful as they could but appeared to have their hands tied by the management.

Absolutely dreadful piece of furniture. 1st one arrived with scratches on the top, and a middle drawer that wouldn't open unless the bottom drawer was opened first. Overall finish was very poor and cheap. 2nd one arrived in several pieces......it honestly looked as though it had been dropped from a great height before being kicked around a warehouse somewhere! I really cannot believe that a £250 item isn't checked over before being sent out. A very cheaply made piece of furniture for an awful lot of money. Returned and refunded .Would not buy from Cotswold Company again. Re delivery company.....I had to wait in all day for courier as the delivery company could not specify either a morning or afternoon pick up/collection. So that was 1 day for delivery, 1 day for collection, another day for 2nd delivery and it would have been a 4th day had the customer service team not stepped in and arranged immediate collection of the very damaged item.

Reading through the account all I can do is apologise for the second quality checked item arriving with you damaged, sadly things can go wrong and damage that occurs during transit is something beyond our control. We take extra steps to ensure that items arrive in perfect condition but sadly this does occasionally go wrong. Looks smart. Works well for us though if you have very large feet - the shoes or boots wouldn't fit. The top drawer is sticking a bit so will need to shave down a little
