We did an image search on 'Google' for Oak Hall Storage and this leapt out the page at us. My wife said immediately "That's the one." and confirmed there was no point in looking for anything else. I knew she was right - I had a cursory look but it was beautiful, the green matched existing colours in our home and the oak bench matched other oak in the home. A little more than we planned to spend but when something is right it's worth splashing out. We selected our delivery date and the communication in delivery was good including regular emails as well as a phone call that morning saying they were 40 minutes away..... happy with that. Delivery into the house was ok - ours was going right by the door, for £14.99 they'll put it in the room of your choice - probably worth paying if required although it is a tad expensive, you'd think two fit and able lads would happily put it there but I guess it's a way to make more money..... So onto the actual product. The colour and quality is good. The final product once built looks great however, building it was challenging. The product comes in two parts (the bottom section and the top mirrored backboard, top and sides. Lining up the side wings was HARD work. There was some slight bowing in the side wing panel so although the four screws should in theory go in easily on each one, on one side it was like pushing water uphill. Eventually - well just over 2 hours eventually - after a little bit of adaptation, WD40, problem solving and assistance I finally managed to get the wing in place. After that it went together a treat, handles were easy to fit and back bars to hold it together all fine. Total build time 3 hours which was unexpected! The key is that once completed the product looks great, we're really pleased and will probably use the Cotswold Co again for furniture. I've attached a picture to aid anyone else thinking of purchasing one so you can see it with actual things in and on it.
The basic design is good and the materials and finish are of a good standard. However the templating of fixing holes in order to bolt the units together left a lot to be desired.
