Magnificent addition to the hallway. A few imperfections but decided not to worry about these given that this is a wood product and, in situ, it will be hard to notice them. Looks like the hooks could be swapped if not to your taste.
Hanging the shelf is hard work. It is probably a three man job to do it safely and easily but I can confirm that it is possible to hang it alone (although I would not recommend it). The challenge starts with marking the holes. I would recommend creating a template on paper and using this to mark the holes - it would, of course, be great if this was supplied??? You should perhaps aim to have the hooks slightly lower than your existing coat hooks to ensure you can make good use of the shelves above.
The supplied fixings are good although I had some trouble with the plugs.
Overall, a solid, heavy, attractive piece of furniture that will last a lifetime... although hanging it may take a few years off your life!

Great item, once installed it looked fantastic. Solid well built, recommend longer screws to make sure it is secured to a solid brick wall. Would not install onto masonry board.
