Luckily, for those of us that do everything on a computer, this lovely bureau will happily accommodate a laptop. The Dorchester Pine Small Writing Bureau is a beautiful, space-saving piece of furniture that will enhance any home. A fold-down top section becomes a desk and will look after the aforementioned laptop, or pen and paper if you prefer, and two spacious cupboards and a full width drawer offer plenty of storage for paperwork and stationery. On top are four compartments for organising your letters, plus a useful little cupboard. Expertly constructed from forest-friendly solid pine, it’s been given a warm, hand-waxed finish to bring out the beauty of the wood.

Perfect little bureau. I am so pleased with it, especially as I got it at January Sale price! The only addition is that we are going to drill a little hole in the back for a power cable for lap top and printer (which lives on the lower shelf)

I have to say first that the delivery men Ishi and Adeel were wonderful. I was surprised at the finish and did not agree with the rich and warm lustre description. However the bureau is very well made and just the right size and should last a life time.
