Lovingly waxed by hand so the rich grain and natural markings can tell their story, it’s then sealed with a clear lacquer to ensure it stays looking good for many years.

Please note that each product is crafted from solid oak and oak veneers, which will be inherently unique in its grain, composition and colouring. Lovely little bookcase, looks perfect in our hall. My only criticism would be that, although I was aware it was small, what I didn't realise is that the design is such that the front of the bookcase is "framed" by wood at the top and two sides, which actually reduces the space available: if I put books all the way along the shelves, the end one or two would disappear behind the wooden frame, and the books on the top shelf would be nigh on impossible to get out unless they are really small (or lying down). If someone wants to use the bookcase for storing a lot of books rather than as a decorative piece of furniture, might be worth thinking twice about this one.

Very pleased with this bookcase, just the size I was looking for with adjustable shelves too. Very easy to assemble and great quality and value for money.

Description on the website is accurate and sizes provided helpful in selecting the most suitable piece.
Delivery men were thoughtful and careful, I did agree to unwrap and put the item together so they did not need to unpack or take away packaging.
Well made, solid item but did require some construction, all pieces were provided including the tool. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.
I have used The Cotswold Company previously including the online char facility and have been satisfied with the service and quality of items.
I would be happy to use The Cotswold Company again.
