Sturdily made from oak and oak veneers this lovely piece of furniture is lightly distressed to give it a timeless appearance which adds to its unique character. A layer of hand-applied wax brings out the natural beauty of the oak and protects it against bumps.

Nice piece of furniture, helpful delivery men who were happy to wait whilst we unpacked it. Disappointed that the internal shelves were not finished to the same standard as the rest of the stand. Once the TV equipment is in place it does cover this up but if you are buying a solid piece of furniture it is a shame that the makers have cut corners and left a cheap looking finish to the shelves and back of the unit.

Overall very good buy , would have scored 5 stars but no wax finish to open shelf and side of legs. Customer service offered a replacement or some wax, did see cheaper elsewhere but ordered from Cotswold as better customer service reviews.

The television unit looks nothing like the picture shown. the doors look like they have been made out of scrap wood. The shelf is a yellowish colour which does not match the rest of the unit.I returned the first unit, and the replacement was little better than the first one. I can only assume that this is the standard to which they are made.It is very disappointing.
