My mum-in-law received one of these last year and it was excellent. Unfortunately my one was broken on receipt - one of the legs had sheared away, the back had come adrift and a shelf support was hanging off. The overall appearance was not to the same high quality as my mum-in-law's.

The first unit received was poorly finished on the top surface, but the company was very efficient in replacing it with a good quality one, checked this time in the UK after arrival from Vietnam. The online description of the item is perhaps a little misleading, in that it contains a significant amount of material other than solid oak. For example, the top has solid oak edges only, with a veneer inlay on the main surface, and the legs (although they look solid oak) are built from oak on the outside with soft wood on the inside. Having said this, the item is functional and pleasing to the eye, and is reasonable value for money bearing in mind its construction.

The TV stand is good value for money and well made. The one comment I would make is that it is darker than the picture suggests which was not a problem for me but may be for some.
