As hallways tend to be narrow spaces in most homes, a console table is just the thing for helping you to stay organised without taking up too much space. This oak and oak veneer one will be at home in any decorating scheme, where its warm, rustic appearance will add tons of character. With a useful dovetailed drawer to keep those things you’re always hunting down before you leave the house in one place, it also has a full width lower shelf for extra storage or display space. Really bring it to life and provide a welcoming sight to visitors by putting photos, flowers or ornaments on top. Subtle peg detailing and brass-coloured cup handles add character, while the hand-applied white wax finish lets the natural raw beauty of the oak be shown at its best.
This natural oak product has been hand finished with a layer of white wax. The wax has been used specifically to keep the oaks beautiful natural colouring while providing a hard wearing and protective layer.

I'm really pleased with this piece of furniture. I need a compact item to fit between two cupboards and this fits the bill. It feels solid and there wasn't too much building required. The colour is quite a light oak, almost limed, without the orangey hues of some oak furniture and therefore matches some of my more modern pieces very well.
