This is a lovely piece of furniture, decent quality and looks great in our hall.

The top of this product was damaged on arrival and clearly shows that it is not made of 'Solid Pine'.
The Cotswold Company reply:
Dear Mrs Whiteman,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review on The Cotswold Company website regarding your recent purchase. I am sorry to hear that the top of this product arrived damaged but I can see that you came to an amicable resolution with one of my colleagues.
If you wish to discuss this any further please do not hesitate to get in contact.
Kind regards
Rachael Corstorphine, Senior Customer Service Team Leader.

Thank you for asking us to review this product. The unit was delivered by just one driver who with the help of my husband managed to get the article off his van and into our property. When unpacked by ourselves we discovered that the console table was delivered upside down and the bottom was covered in thick splashes of paint. I immediately telephoned the Cotswold Company and was told that they were unable to deal with our complaint and it would be passed on to Head Office who would contact us. WE ARE STILL WAITING - TO DATE NO ONE HAS CONTACTED US!!!!
