From the floor to the surface of slats; 35cm. All measurements are approximate. Slats are 6.4cm wide and 1cm Deep. Distance between the slats 10cm. The slats are made from pine. There is a centre rail. Under the centre rail there is one support.

Really happy with the quality of this product, great value for money. We spent ages looking for a new bed, and were looking at ones costing more than twice this amount. In the end, this looked like a perfect mix of quality and value and it certainly delivered. It was also a breeze to assemble; after living primarily with IKEA furniture in the past we were amazed at how simple it was to put together. Really comfy too, and slightly higher than our old bed which makes the room look larger! Win win win.

one of the very best wooden framed beds we have ever bought - the use of a central steel support bar gives a clear floor space for storage

Some slats don't rest properly on the metal support bar, so if you move around the bed a lot, there will be noises of the slats hitting the metal bar.
