Delivery Delays

The Coronavirus outbreak has led to unprecedented delays at our UK sea ports, where we, and many other retailers, are now seeing average turnaround times of goods being significantly extended. This is leading to delays of between 2-4 weeks and is affecting the lead times of when we are able to deliver the furniture to our distribution centre, and then to you, our customers.

The good news is, that once the furniture does arrive at our distribution centre, we can deliver your order safely to you in a very short timeframe, we will notify you by email when it arrives and again when it has been dispatched, with tracking details provided by our couriers.

In the meantime please continue to track you order through our Track Your Order facility or through your account in our My Account section.

We apologise for any convenience caused and are working very hard to minimise disruption whenever we can.


Delivering safely to your homes

Our dedicated teams of delivery drivers are now providing hallway and doorstep deliveries.

In order to practice a more contactless and reassuring delivery service, we have decided to temporarily remove the options of ‘Room of Choice’, ‘Packaging Removal’ and ‘Assembly’. If you have placed an order and paid for any of these delivery services, we will, of course, cancel and refund these for you – please just get in touch.

If you are self-isolating, or concerned about receiving a delivery, we are happy to deliver safely to your doorstep. There is an option to select this at the checkout, or just give us a call and we can inform the delivery drivers for you.

About Our Deliveries

We'll pick the best delivery service for you based on the size and contents of your order. We have four different ways of getting your delivery to you which are listed below. If you're not clear on what delivery service you'll be receiving, don't worry - when you take your order to the checkout, we'll be able to be much more specific.

Please be aware, if you want to take advantage of our finance package, we can only deliver to the billing address.

Your delivery will always be free by default, but that doesn't mean you can't customise it. Have a look at our upgrades section to find out how to add extra features to your delivery.

If your order is over £500 or any of your items are quite heavy, around 50kg or more, you will qualify for our Room of Choice Service by default.

Room of Choice Service

  • Delivered directly by our two-person delivery partners.
  • You will receive your allocated time window by 8am on the day of delivery, in most cases these are sent the day before. Please be aware that our delivery team may book your delivery slot any time between 7am - 9pm.
  • Your drivers will contact you up to an hour before your delivery to let you know they're on their way. If the drivers are having difficulty locating your property they may need to contact you for assistance therefore please make sure you provide us with a telephone number which will be available on the day of delivery.
  • Choose which room you want your furniture to go to and our drivers will take it there and position it (access permitting - also please call if delivery is beyond the second floor, as we cannot guarantee Room of Choice without prior confirmation). If you have any questions regarding this, please contact our team on 0333 200 1725.
  • All kinds of service upgrades available.

Important: if you choose to cancel your delivery after it has left our distribution center, you may have to pay an additional fee to cover the cost of returning it to us.

If your order is under £500 and all your items are relatively small, around 50kg or less, you will qualify for one of these three services:

Four Hour Window Delivery

Standard Delivery

  • Delivered by our expert dedicated delivery team.
  • Delivery will be to the front entrance on the ground floor of the property.
  • Delivery between 7am – 9pm.
  • You will receive a more specific time window the day before delivery. Please note that this is an all-day service and our delivery team may book your delivery slot any time between 7am – 9pm.
  • If the drivers are having difficulty locating your property they may need to contact you for assistance therefore please make sure you provide us with a telephone number which will be available on the day of delivery.
  • All kinds of service upgrades available.

Small Item Delivery

  • Delivered by one of our professional network delivery partners.
  • Delivery will be to the outer entrance on the ground floor of the property.
  • Delivery will be between 7.30am and 6pm
  • As long as you have provided us with your mobile number, you will receive a two-hour timeslot via SMS on the morning of delivery.
  • The driver will leave a card through your door if no ones home, to arrange re delivery. There is no redelivery charge in this instance.
  • All kinds of service upgrades available.

Please be aware our delivery team may arrive any time between the hours of 7am and 6pm. If you think this might present problems, please read about our Four Hour Timeslot service upgrade.

Important:if you choose to cancel your delivery after it has left our distribution center, you may have to pay an additional fee to cover the cost of returning it to us.

Every order will require the driver to take a signature so please make sure there's going to be someone at home on the day. Failed deliveries can incur a re-delivery fee. Please note if you are based in Scotland or the South West, we normally deliver within 5-10 working days, however some locations at the furthest corners of the country can take up to 28 days. Please contact our team if you need further clarification.

North Scotland Deliveries

If you live in one of the following postcodes, you can still receive a free delivery, but please note that the default option given to you, as described in our delivery types section, will cost £25 unless you specifically select our Free Scotland Delivery option at the checkout:

AB, IV, KW1-14, PA & PH - please note we can only deliver to postcodes which are within the UK mainland.

With our Free Scotland Delivery service, your furniture is delivered on a wooden pallet to the front of your property. Please note that you will not be able to select a delivery date with this service. Once all of your products are in stock, we will arrange for them to be despatched to our distribution centre on the earliest available date. They will then contact you to let you know when delivery will be made. What Service Upgrades Can I Choose?

Our delivery system is designed to take all the hassle out of ordering by allowing you to choose the way you want your delivery to take place.

If you've already placed your order with us, you can still add these upgrades to your order, so long as you haven't already picked a delivery date. Just get in touch with us via email or phone.

Four Hour Window

from £14.99

(this upgrade is already included in our Room of Choice & Four Hour Window services)

With this upgrade you will receive a notification (via email or SMS) from the courier company in the morning of the day of delivery providing you with a 4 hour window. They will also call you up to an hour before they are due to arrive on the day. Please note the delivery team may need to contact you on the day of delivery if they have any difficulties so we ask that you provide us with a contact number that will be available on the day.

You will be able to add this upgrade whilst placing your order.

Room Of Choice

from £14.99

(this upgrade is already included in our Room of Choice service)

With this upgrade, we will deliver your furniture to the room of your choice (access permitting). Before placing your order, you'll need to check that the items of furniture you would like to purchase will fit through any passages, stairwells, landings and doorways on the way to the destination room. Please check if delivery is beyond the second floor as we cannot guarantee Room of Choice without prior confirmation. We try to provide as much information as possible in respect to weight and size of our furniture, but if you're not sure, just get in touch.

You will be able to add this upgrade whilst placing your order.

Please note: if you purchase this upgrade, you will automatically receive the 4 hour window service free of charge.

Express Delivery

From only £20.00

Receive your furniture any time within the next 7 days, including tomorrow, with our super-fast express delivery. If your order is in stock, simply select this option at the checkout and you'll be able to receive an express delivery of your furniture within the next 7 days

You will be able to choose your own delivery date from the calendar at the checkout. To add express delivery to your order, just select one of the express delivery days. Applicable Mon-Fri.

Saturday Delivery

£20.00

Why take time off work when you can have your delivery on a Saturday.

You will be able to select your own delivery date from a calendar in our checkout. To add Saturday delivery to your order, just select any Saturday from the calendar when placing your order.

Evening Delivery

£14.99

Receive your order between the hours of 7pm and 10pm with this upgrade. If you can't receive your order during the day, this option is for you.

You will be able to add this upgrade whilst placing your order.

Please note: this upgrade is only available with our 4 hour window delivery service.

Our Evening Delivery upgrade is only available in the following postcodes:

Morning Delivery

from £15.00

If you want to get your delivery over with first thing in the morning so you can carry on with your day, this option is for you:

  • Before 10:30 am - from £25
  • Before 12:00 noon - from £15

We can only offer this upgrade for our Small Item Delivery service.

You will be able to add this upgrade to your order at the checkout if your basket qualifies for the service. Morning deliveries are not available for exchanges or collections.

Furniture Assembly

from £15 per item

Assembly can be a hassle. Allow our delivery crew to carry your furniture to your room of choice, unpack it, position and fully assemble your furniture. The price for this service will depend on what you have ordered. See the table below for price information.

To take advantage of our assembly service, simply select this option when placing your order through the checkout.

Premium Assembly Light Assembly
From £45 per item

Premium Assembly covers all wardrobes and beds.

From £15 per item

Light assembly covers all smaller items of furniture including dining tables, bookcases, dressing tables and computer desks.


Please note that the price listed is the price per item and this service is only available with a room of choice delivery service. This service is not available on flat pack furniture.

Packaging Removal

£10.00 per order

If you are taking advantage of our Room Of Choice delivery service, you can have our drivers remove all the packaging from your furniture and take it away with them.

To add this to your order, make sure you select our Room Of Choice upgrade at the checkout, then select the package removal option.

We cannot offer this service for flat pack furniture.



Cancellations and Re-Delivery

If you need to cancel your order or remove items before delivery, please ensure you contact us at least 2 working days before your delivery date, as once we have despatched your order from our distribution centre, there will be an additional fee of £20 or £40 depending on the item, to return your furniture back to us. We may still be able to add to your order after this point, but please contact our Customer Services Team on 0333 200 1725 to discuss your requirements.

Please make sure you are available to receive delivery on the agreed date. If you find that you are unable to receive delivery, please contact us at least 2 working days before your delivery is due to take place.

Assembly Services can only be cancelled with at least 48hrs notice prior to the assembly taking place as the assembly team will have been booked and reserved specifically for you.

Missed deliveries will incur an additional charge, except for parcel deliveries and accessories where a calling card is left for re-delivery at no extra charge.

Please note that if you miss your delivery it is likely that you will be charged an additional amount. This is because we are still charged by the courier. These costs are listed below and are dependent on the service.

Total order weight under 25kg £20.00
Total order weight over 25kg £40.00

Please make sure you are available to receive delivery on the delivery date that has been agreed. If you find that you are unable to receive delivery, please make sure you notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

Delivery FAQs

How long will my delivery take?

For the vast majority of orders, you will be able to choose your own delivery date. For in stock orders, you can select a delivery date while placing your order. For out of stock orders, you will be able to book your delivery date online once your order arrives with us.

In the case that you cannot choose your delivery date, please allow up to 14 days from your in-stock date for delivery.

Please allow 28 days for delivery to Scottish highlands.

What time will my order arrive?

Large Item Delivery is between 7am and 9pm. Our parcel deliveries are between 7am and 6pm. Unfortunately, we cannot be more specific at this point. Once you have placed your order, we will email you with more specific details about your delivery.

If I'm not happy my delivery, can I change it?

Yes. Our checkout will allow you to alter your delivery specifications to best suit your needs. You will be able to customise your delivery when placing your order..

What happens if I miss my delivery?

Missed deliveries will incur an additional charge, except for parcel deliveries and accessories where a calling card is left for re-delivery at no extra charge.

Order cancellations received on the day of delivery will incur a £20.00 or £40.00 charge to return the order to our warehouse.

Please make sure you are available to receive delivery on the delivery date that has been agreed. If you find that you are unable to receive delivery, please make sure you notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

How does delivery work if part of my order is out of stock?

As part of our commitment to the environment, we would prefer to deliver your goods all at once.

If you urgently want your in-stock items to be delivered sooner, we can deliver them separately. However, you will have to pay a separate delivery charge for this.

Can I choose my own delivery date?

Yes. You can choose your own delivery date when placing your order as long as your items are in stock. For out of stock orders, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a date with you.

Can I choose my own delivery time?

Yes, we offer timed delivery in many postcodes. To learn more, visit our Evening Delivery and Morning Delivery sections.

Can you remove my old furniture?

No. Unfortunately we are not yet ready to offer this service.

Can you deliver outside of mainland UK?

At present, we have no way of offering delivery outside of the mainland UK. Orders to Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands and other offshore islands can be delivered to shipping company of your choice, as long as they are based in the mainland.

What should I do if my delivery doesn't arrive?

Please call us immediately and have your order number ready.
