We've taken all the charm and traditional character that inspired the Winchcombe range for our beautiful sleigh bed. Soft curves at both ends help to accentuate its elegance and carefully crafted design for a bed that feels timeless and robust.
Inspired by a Georgian bow-fronted chest spotted at an antiques market, the Winchcombe range features a deep, natural grain, soft-close drawers and generous storage – thanks to its elegantly curved shape – that make every piece a pleasure to live with. It combines delicate cornicing with traditional woodwork for a timeless feel.
Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak’s natural beauty, the timber is hand-finished with a combination of stains and glazes to achieve its Smoked Oak tone. It is then sealed with a lacquer to protect the oak’s subtle, natural grain traces.

Seems to be a very solid bed. My only concern is the design of the slats which curve upwards and don't screw onto the bed frame but instead are held in place with plastic lugs which slot into holes on the bed frame. When it came to putting the mattress on, the slats kept coming out of the holes every time we tried to move the mattress into position and I worry that this will happen when the sheets are changed and every time the mattress needs turning. We are using this in a spare bedroom and it hasn't been slept on yet so I can't comment on durability.

Mattress sits too high as slats are not low enough on the side panels. Lower edges of side panels rough and unfinished. Finish on the bed different from that of the other pieces within the range
