Love the look of this bed and it was easy enough to build. My only negative is that the frame is a bit too long! We bought 3 x long size beds from Cotswold Company and 3 x long size mattresses from reputable company. The mattresses all the same size, yet on this one bed the frame seems to be a bit longer and so there’s either a gap between headboard and mattress or gap at mattress end and baseboard. The other two beds don’t have this so I think this bed just needs reviewing, as it’s about 2 inches perhaps. Don’t get me wrong once you’ve got mattress protector, pillows and duvet on the bed you can’t ‘see’ the gap, but it’s odd.
