After sorting out issues with delivery and damage to the product the bed has now been insitu for a couple of weeks. One issue we had is that the sides slot into each other and are tightened with nuts, 4 out of the 8 were threaded meaning we could either wait for spare parts to arrive or just go out and buy some before guests arriving at Christmas which we did, the nuts and bolts in my opinion are too small for the job and easily loosen resulting in a creaky bed, although the hooking system prevents the bed coming apart.
The slat bases don't fit tightly within the frame and judging buy the number of holes drilled into the outside slat frame, are used as generic bed base rather than made for this frame. They do not have any fixing to the bed frame meaning they move around easily, again unnecessary creaking and clanking while getting into bed, there are 2 single frames rather than one superking. To stop this we have purchased wood to place either side and in the middle of the frames to stop the movement, in total these added up to nearly 60mm which is quite a gap to have between the bases. So all in all a nice looking bed which is definitely not worth the high price, and a bit of a let down for Cotswold Companies normal high standard.

We’ve had this bed 1 week and so far all is good. Love the design and colour is exactly as described. My husband would like you to bring back your in home assembly service though!
