The top has been given a wax finish to show off the character and warmth of the timber, and we’d suggest teaming the table up with a set of our matching Chester Dove Grey dining chairs to finish things off nicely.
White wax tinted oil finish on high quality oak veneer tops with panels painted in Dove Grey. A clear lacquer on top for increased protection in hardwearing areas.

Beautiful table, lovely detailing in the legs and very sturdy. We are extremely happy with the quality of the table and especially like the ability to extend twice. Really worth the investment in such a timeless piece of furniture.

The product is great, but be aware the wax coating is extremely light. First day owning this table some water was spilt on the surface and we now have a permanent water mark. Cotswold did agree to send a professional over, who arrived 3 weeks later, but he said the coating was very light and so he could understand how water got through, he did his best to dry it out but it is too late. Very disappointing for 1 days use. We have now bought some more wax and protected the surface more. Cotswold did state that they have a care guide on their website which should be followed, I explained that we purchased the table in-store and had not been directed to this guide by the staff, so we were unaware of its existence. The overall journey we have been put through with Cotswold has been painfully long and unnecessarily arduous with multiple items having to send back due to damage on arrival, and the whole process from order to final delivery of undamaged goods has been just over 3 months. We are now happy with our items, but will never shop with Cotswold again.

Absolutely love our dining table and we also purchased the large sideboard and bench. The colour of the wood is beautiful and was just what we were searching for
