Just days after having received the table (which we had already had to wait 6 months for!), stains started to appear on the table top. When I contacted the Cotswold Company they said they could do nothing and that I would have to refer to the care instructions. However, at no time had I received any care instructions. Therefore I was not only very disappointed by the product itself, but also the after care, which was non-existent.

I am disappointed to hear that you feel the service you have received was not useful and that you are disappointed with the finish of the furniture. Painted furniture will always have the tendency to chip and retain marks from cold glasses or food stains as this is just the nature of the product. As these issues were due to wear and tear they are not covered by our warranty however we did provide you with all the correct product after care information and paint matches which can help with these issues.
