I really wish I'd thought about free standing cupboards before! I'm so happy with this purchase, which has been a complete game changer for my kitchen. The old unit (with the same footprint) was ugly, cheap and didn't provide half as mush easy to use storage. Now I actually enjoy being in the kitchen again. It's stylish, good looking and well made with the added bonus of fitting in loads of handy storage options - I hardly need the rest of the kitchen. Plus I can take it with me if we move - which was an added motivator in spending the money - so it's with me for life. It really is value for money! I love it! It was well packed and delivered quickly. I really want to get more free standing units now to complete the look.

I moved into my cottage without any furniture (moved from overseas) and I purchased all my items from the Cotswold Company. This purchase was by far the best one of them all. We actually removed a counter in the kitchen and put this next to a Smeg fridge. Having all our food in one place (it fits so much) with places for spices, bottles etc is a dream. I highly recommend it!
