Crafted from distressed solid pine to give it bags of vintage-style character, it’s also been waxed by hand to show off its dark tones and unique grain patterns. Low and wide so it can go just about anywhere, including under a window, it has adjustable shelves, a tongue and groove back for extra strength, and there’s room on top for family photographs.
This robust range is constructed from solid pine that is hand waxed to create a rich, warm lustre. The natural rough grain of this characterful timber achieves its vintage appearance with further distressing in the form of authentic tool marks, abrasions and coarse textures, making each piece truly unique. Whilst the product colour and finish represented is as closely matched as possible, due to the natural composition of the pine and the rough finish of this range, we cannot guarantee an exact replication of colour or distressing.

I purchased a few buts from Cotswold Co recently and each time I've been left a little disappointed with the delivery service. I know you can pay extra for the item to be unpackaged and packaging removed which I probably should have done but for the price you're paying it really should be included. The delivery men just want to get out as quick as possible to which kind of tarnishes the experience. The items are pretty good quality, the latest item was the Abington Pine bookcase and one of the shelves hadn't been cut correctly so I had to go buy a wood saw and cut it myself. The bookcase is nice, I can't help but think its a little overpriced but it is good. I did email customer service pointing out the issue but have not had a reply.
