Really poor quality construction and arrived with broken frame (in two places), all dented and paint chipped. I’ve asked for a refund and collection and am awaiting customer services to reply.

The bookcase is basically a base unit plus 'bookcase' on top. The 'bookcase' element was extremely poor finish, has chips in the wood unfinished areas, is split where the adjustable pegs fit to take the shelves. The support pegs for the shelves are poor quality and the shelves are uneven when sitting on the 'pegs'.
The company are investigating a replacement. Hopefully the new one will be better. Really hope to provide a more positive review when the replacement arrives.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture and a great colour but if you want it unpacked and all the packaging taken away ensure you make this clear when ordering. I did this but somehow the delivery company did not want to. I phoned Cotswold and after speaking with them they asked the two delivery men who obliged. This book case comes in two large boxes which are extremely heavy. Unfortunately there was a mark on the side of the bottom left hand cupboard and some of the fittings were missing but the customer services department (especially Aaron) were very helpful and sent the fittings to connect the two parts together and to secure the top part to the wall with instructions by post.
