Inspired by a Georgian bow-fronted chest spotted at an antiques market, the Winchcombe range features a deep, natural grain, soft-close drawers and generous storage – thanks to its elegantly curved shape – that make every piece a pleasure to live with. It combines antiqued metal handles and delicate cornicing with traditional woodwork for a timeless feel.
Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak’s natural beauty, the timber is hand-finished with a combination of stains and glazes to achieve its Oiled Oak tone. It is then sealed with oil to protect the oak’s subtle, natural grain traces.

The assembly of this wardrobe was a disaster. The 2 men had no idea and left without putting the doors on. They also disappeared without even saying a word to me. The delivery of my order was a 1/10. Would never order again on this basis.

We bought with standard delivery, which means that we were left to put this together ourselves. This should have been relatively easy, given that the bottom section is pre made and we have years of experience putting flat pack furniture together. But it wasn’t.
Our biggest problem was that the holes often didn’t line up. We fitted the main section onto the base as best we could, but two screws holes were offset so much that we couldn’t get them in. To get the doors to fit, we had to make new screw holes for the top hinges. The bottom two went in on both sides, but the top were well out well of line.
By this point we were invested and it’s stable enough, so we decided to keep it. It’s possible the next one could have similar issues and we’d have to go through this all over again. But for this price I really expected it to go together as least as well as a wardrobe from a cheaper Swedish manufacturer. Bit disappointed really because the chest of drawers and side tables are really well built.

Top was slightly scratched, from packaging. As it’s unlikely to be seen chose not to return due to lengthy wait for replacement.
