Great table , looks fabulous. The assembly instructions were poor. We bought 6 chairs but are currently only using 4.

The table is lovely but, despite a QA label dated October 2017 the extension mechanism had not been set up properly. I telephoned for advice and was promised a return phone call within 40 hours - that was two weeks ago. My husband used a spanner and eased and then re-tightenened the mechanism both sides of the extension piece and the table is now fit for purpose. The table marks very easily - the slightest spillage and is already fairly marked (I hadn't realised two retired people could be so messy). I followed the rather general cleaning instructions sent with the table - these are generic to oak and painted furniture and not specific to this table and normal usage. The instructions don't work. We love Cotswold Company furniture style but no one is going to admire this table as it needs to be covered with a pvc cloth, not just table mats, for all meals. A shame.

had been looking for a table like this for a long time so was overjoyed when found this one on Cotswold size, perfect size for my small space with the option to make bigger when friends and family come. It looks lovely and is very well made. Men who delivered and assembled were very swift and professional, however there is a downside in that when you sit at the table you bang your knees on the wood underneath!! My daughter and I have bruises from this problem. We now sit with caution. Such a shame as I love this table.
