6-10 Seater Extending Dining Table

We LOVE this table! It is chunky and robust and really feels worth every penny of its price and its colour is subtle and neutral, but adds some interest rather than just plain wood. The table top is very pale wood which some people may want to protect with a table cloth, however, so far, it is wiping up well, even after my one year old attempting his worst with baked beans! The leaves are easy to insert/remove and they store neatly under the table top when not in use. Without the additional leaves you can seat 4-6, with one leaf 6-8, and with two leaves (I would guess) 8-10, maybe even 12 if you don't mind it being cosy! Only complaints, which are more to do with setting the table up after delivery than with the table itself: 1) The picture instructions of how to fit the legs to the top are small and this led to some confusion over which way round things went 2) The table is EXTREMELY heavy (I cannot over-state this). The instructions stated it was a two person construction, but my husband and I struggled to lift and flip the table, particularly as we were advised not to place the top face down on the floor (to avoid marking it), or roll/stand the table with the top on its side and the legs supporting it on the floor (I assume so as not to twist the sliding mechanism for adding the leaves). I would recommend four people to lift and flip this table.

Great table at a really reasonable price,sturdy and looks fab. The fact that it extends means that family gatherings and parties will be easy now.
