A very nice and good looking chair, which is very comfortable to sit in - but not at a desk for computer and typing work. With its wheel base, it is obviously designed as an office chair but for sitting forward and typing, it was unfortunately no good, so I had to send it back. I found that because the back of the chair is not adjustable, I was unable to sit at the correct upright angle for computer work. This chair needs to have a sister model with an adjustable back. The current version is fine if you are simply sitting at a desk, using the phone, writing with pen and paper, or reading. It is well made, but I have had to give the build quality a 4* rating, because with the one that I received, there did not seem to be enough gas in the lifting/lowering mechanism for the chair to stay at its set level for any length of time. Fortunately I did not get rid of my old chair, so am still having to use that until I can find a suitable new one. Make one with an adjustable back please.

We bought two of these chairs to go with two of your ‘Oakland’ office desks. Real shame that they do NOT fit under the desks. Considering you sell both these products it is a real shame as neither my wife nor myself can get close enough to our computer screens. (We have bought loads of furniture from the COTSWOLD Company and have always previously been really happy with the quality of all your products)

Stone fabric, colour and look of chair is lovely. I bought it as a seat for visitors to my home office, which is just as well because I do not think it is fit for purpose to be used while doing computer work at a desk for long periods of time. The height can be adjusted, but not the back and it is not supportive. The seat pad is quite thick and retains its shape, but I find it a little hard and not that comfortable. In summary, it looks lovely in my room, but is not practical.
