Would be giving this product a five star review had it come properly, however I fortunately spotted that one of the four corner joints was missing all but one of the five screws which was meant to hold it together (neither had holes been drilled for them). No suitable small screws had been provided, and so I had to go out to buy some and drill the holes myself. After altering Cotswold Co's customer service team to this and sending in photos I received a £50 damage discount, for which I am grateful, and the service staff were always professional. However I feel I must leave this review to alert other buyers that there are potential quality issues with the manufacturers, so please make a thorough check of your bed or other furniture when it comes. The joint in question needs to take up to 80kg in weight at times (i.e. my bodyweight), so had I not noticed all screws but one were missing then bad times could have ensued!

Lovely solid oak bed, didnt realise how uncomfortable my old bed was until I got this one. Great value too

Bed arrived (via a great delivery service) but once unpacked it was clearly very badly damaged. Dents and scratches all over the end of the frame, despite a Quality Assurance sticker on the package. Currently waiting for a replacement bed...
