Ideal for a guest room, this expertly crafted single bed has been built to last. Painted a chic grey that will help induce a feeling of calm and relaxation, it has a contrasting lacquered oak top on the slatted headboard. Complementing the other bedroom furniture in the Simply Cotswold Grey range perfectly, its neutral tones and clean lines will also work well in combination with other styles.

- Before use, ensure the bed is correctly assembled in accordance with the instruction leaflet, the safety advice is followed and the fittings are regularly checked and re-tighten if required.

Disappointed to find this comprises painted MDF with little resilience to impact, and no mention of this in the product description.

Good afternoon Timothy, thank you for your review. MDF is a type of composite wood. We tend to only use composite woods in products where it genuinely enhances the items' strength and finish. Painted furniture is a great example of where composite wood provides a really solid piece of furniture with a beautifully smooth finish, that's not interrupted by the knots or grain of the wood.
