We have bought many items from Cotswold Co over the past couple of years, however, this one was a bit of a disappointment compared to most. The back of the chest has a lot of stapes in it, which means it is not very attractive to look at. This, in turn, meant we could not position it where we had planned to in the room. Other items of furniture bought from Cotswold have been well finished at the back and fine to be visible in the room so we had assumed this would be also. Additionally, as another reviewer mentioned, there were marks on the top and sides of the chest, presumably caused by packaging, but I have managed to polish these out mostly. Over all, the chest looks good and the baskets are a good size, however they do have a strong smell which still permeates the room more than two weeks after taking delivery (and with windows open all day every day) so keep this in mind if you are sensitive to smells.

Nice looking piece of furniture. The top and sides of our unit had strange markings on the paint, maybe caused by the packaging, but they won't shift. The baskets don't pull in and out too easily but they are functional. Overall disappointed in the paint finish.
