Ordered a considerable amount of bedroom furniture back in November and was told delivery time 3-4 weeks. As it got closer to Christmas we hadn’t received an update - my partner emailed and received an automated message stating that there was delays due to Covid-19 which we felt was acceptable. In the new year we still hadn’t received an updated so chased again. This time the previous email was simply forwarded on with the original email below. We finally received a date for delivery for our long awaited furniture. On the expected delivery date we received a time frame of 5pm-8pm. This was fine as due to Covid we can’t go anywhere. We gave it until 20 past 8 and then called the driver who advised that the delivery wasn’t happening due to one set of the chest of drawers not being delivered to Pyramid the delivery company. Cotswolds had not bothered to make us aware of this. We then spent the next 3 days going between Cotswolds and Pyramid as they seemed unable to sort this out themselves. We finally received confirmation of delivery of all the furniture or so we thought. This morning we finally received delivery. However this time we are now missing 1 out of the 3 cartoons to make up the triple wardrobe. Cotswolds have provided appalling customer service and have not contacted us to get this resolved. All phone calls have been ourselves contacting them. This is completely unacceptable. For a company with this reputation you would expect more support. If anyone from Cotswolds sees this please contact us to help us get this resolved.
Waited 15 weeks and when arrived the drawers didn’t fit some went in further than spaces and one was broken revealing laminate coating and soft interior. I thought it was painted oak. Cotswold refund however was pain free but I was very disappointed.
Draws do not have runners, but contain pieces of wood at the back to stop you taking the whole draw out. The draw on the top right did not pull out without damaging the paint. Visually it looked nice, good quality wood, but practically would be a pain. Returned for a full refund.
