Featuring a 1000 supportive pocket spring system, each individual spring is housed in separate fabric pockets for enhanced comfort and support. The deep layer of chemical-free recycled polyester gives our Ortho mattress a firmer tension, for support you can really feel. A breathable micro-quilted knitted fabric also covers each mattress, helping to keep you cooler for a restful and relaxing night’s sleep.

This is a really comfortable mattress - firm - not hard. For the money the quality is good, It cannot be 'turned' as it has a special 'cool' layer of foam on one side. It could do with a nice cotton cover rather than manmade fabric but for the money it is good value.

Very soft. Expected a firmer support as it is advertised as "Ortho Support". Just one of the draw backs of making such a purchase on line without trying first I guess.
