The console table looked perfect but, sadly, it had a substantial scratch on the top and the assembly instructions were absolutely impossible to follow. We attempted to assemble it ourselves but found that the screws were far too short. Very very disappointed, we returned it . has anyone else found this to be the case? I would still like to have a table like this but have been put off.

The product looks good but the finish at the back and problem trying to line up the bolts with the nuts in the leg were a complete frustration and could so easily have been avoided at the manufacturing stage.

I had two deliveries of this item.There were both damaged.I did not want to re-order.
