Purchase Chester Grey Oak dining table. Once arrived some minor assembly required (table top had to be fixed to pedestal base). There were a number of components missing which prevented the table from being assembled. Contacted Cotswold Co. - not very interested. Suggested missing parts could be sent on although was told they may take up to 14 weeks to arrive. Not able to be without a dining table for over three months. Clearly no "quality control" before product left factory (which appears to be in China). Altogether very disappointing service from Cotswold. Product returned. Have sourced another table and chairs of better build and quality. Will not be using this company again.

I have viewed the photos you sent to us and I can see that this appears to be a manufacturing issue and our buying team has been made aware of the condition of the table you received. Unfortunately, providing parts would not have resolved the issue, so the only available resolution was to await further stock to replace the item for a quality checked one. The item was regrettably out of stock at that point, with a considerable lead time, for which we do apologise. We quality check a percentage of our containers/products when they arrive in our UK distribution centre, and if those checked items pass our high standards then we consider all items on that container to be of a similar standard. I can see that we offered various options to try and resolve the issue, and can see that you ultimately decided to opt to return the products for a refund. Excellent value for money. Chairs are sturdy and easy to clean. Delivery was faultless and I was kept up to date with the delivery time. Would definitely shop with Cotswold Co again.
