Dining Set - Round Table and 4 Chairs

After some research on the best type of wood used for outside furniture we chose this bistro set. It is good quality and well made. The finish looks superb and all we need now is some decent weather to be able to use it regularly.

This dining set is lovely - looks exactly like the photo. It has a hole in the centre for a parasol. I bought it at the same time as the Baunton long bench and Baunton butlers tray - which all look beautiful and high quality. I have a couple of gripes though. Firstly I ordered all three items in February, expecting delivery in April (a long wait!), and everything was delivered mid-May. Secondly, it's a shame that there was no option to have the table constructed (fortunately the chairs don't need constructing) and all the packaging taken away (there was absolutely loads of it!) The table is definitely a two-person construction; I totally failed to put it together by myself. The instructions could have been clearer. Also I wish the information online had said that this product needs to be protected every year (which it says in the instructions) - I had assumed that the fairly high price meant it would withstand a few winters outside. It's worth noting that the chairs do fold up easily for winter storage, but the table would need to be de-constructed first. Also, one of the chair legs has already got a small chip out of one corner - which is a little disappointing.

Arrived very well packaged. Very sturdy and well made. Looking forward to using it.
