Having considered getting a steamer chair I was drawn to this chair because of the arm rests and the foot stool. It is much more easy to move and put away than a steamer would be.
Very stylish design and easy to put together.
I gave it 4 stars for quality because the "pegs" [which were part of the assembly] were poor.
The wood had obviously already split on some pegs and had been filled to rebuild, but one or two again split when we were assembling the chair. Fortunately we are pretty handy with tools and re drilled the holes so the peg had a more comfortable fit and reduced splitting once sections were re assembled. Advice to other customers is dont screw any section up tightly initially, place all sections together and move from joint to joint tightening them gradually.

Unfortunately I had to return this item as there were a couple of faults. I also found the quality was not Cotswolds usual high standard. Every other piece of furniture I have ordered from Cotswold I have been delighted with and they have become useful and much appreciated additions to our home, but sadly not this item!

Disappointed really, never seen so many pilot holes , where the screws are supposed to go in , so far off centre , had to glue matches in , wait till it had set ,then redrill six holes , one had a bad bit of wood where the screw had to go , so had to glue the whole piece in , should of sent them back really, (poor quality control wherever they are made ! )but all the rigmarole of waiting to get them picked up , and then getting some more sent out ??, anyway they are together now, they look ok
