I purchased quite a lot of the Chalford office furniture as I work from home, but I also do a lot of arts and crafts, so I wanted the extra desk space. The furniture is sturdy and as described. It's of good quality and what was really useful to me, was that you can adjust the height of the furniture. I live in an old cottage where the floors are very uneven and without this feature, I would undoubtedly have had a wobbly desk! The monitor stand is a slightly different colour to the units, but it's not really noticeable to somebody not using the desk. I think the furniture is quite expensive for what it is, but probably no more expensive than other brands, and it will last a long time! Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Looks great and good that all legs are adjustable. Highly disappointed how the surface differs to that of the filing cabinet so they are not the same colour and do not look uniform as I expected them to. I bought the desk, topper and filing cabinet as one package but the filing cabinet was delivered much earlier. Perhaps if built at the same time the grain/colour would have been uniform. Being a perfectionist this difference really stands out to be and bugs me every day! :-(
